The signature red color of the restaurant's brand is used liberally yet tastefully to draw and entice customers through the various zones within the eatery. The material palette and formal execution of the space draws inspiration from the minimalist aesthetic of Japanese design while introducing the unexpected. This interior capitalizes on the industrially modest qualities of hot rolled steel juxtapose more refined materials such as crystal clear polished glass and pure white ceilings. Select walls are clad in the darkened steel to visually anchor the open dining room and give it a feeling of weightiness. As a contrast to this design feature, a visually lightweight glass partition is introduced.  Comprised of individually mounted glass fins with etched bands of varying widths, the partition is a dramatic feature that appears and disappears when viewed from different vantage points in the room. The clean lines of the space impart a feeling of simplicity and clarity.
